What Is a Chick-fil-A Gift Card?

A Chick-fil-A gift card is like a prepaid meal pass you can use at any Chick-fil-A restaurant. It lets you pay for your food and drinks without using cash or your debit card. You just load money onto the card, and then swipe or scan it when you’re ready to eat.

You can buy these gift cards for yourself, or give them as a gift to someone who loves Chick-fil-A. These cards are perfect for birthdays, holidays, or just to surprise someone with their favourite chicken sandwich.

Chick-fil-A gift cards come in physical form (plastic cards) and digital eGift cards. You can use them to pay at the counter, drive-thru, or even when ordering through the Chick-fil-A app.

Chick-fil-A Gift Card Amount

You can load a CFA gift card with any amount between $5 and $100. Perfect for small snacks or full meals, it fits any budget or occasion.

Any time it’s a birthday or a thank-you gift, the flexible amount makes it easy. Both physical and eGift cards follow this same $5 to $100 range.

You can buy them at Chick-fil-A stores or order them online anytime. Want to send one digitally? Use the official site to pick your amount.

There’s no pressure to spend big, $5 is enough for a treat! Going bigger? A $100 gift card can cover multiple meals or full family orders.

Where to Buy Chick-fil-A Gift Cards?

You can buy a Gift card at almost any participating Chick-fil-A restaurant. You can choose any amount between $5 and $100.

Want to buy one while doing your regular shopping? Good news! Chick-fil-A Gift Cards are also available at many popular stores, like grocery shops, pharmacies, and big retail chains. These store-bought cards usually come in amounts between $10 and $50.

If you’d rather go digital, Chick-fil-A also offers eGift Cards. You can send them through email or even text.

These digital gift cards can also be loaded with any amount between $5 and $100. Just visit the official Chick-fil-A eGift site here: https://www.chick-fil-a.com/egiftcards.

A Quick Heads-Up on Locations

Not all Chick-fil-A spots sell or accept gift cards. Especially Chick-fil-A Express or licensed locations like in airports, stadiums, universities, and music venues. So always double-check with the location first before buying or using your card there.

Avoid Fake or Discounted Gift Cards

Chick-fil-A does not support third-party sites that sell discounted gift cards. If a website is offering Chick-fil-A gift cards for cheap, it might not be legit. Only buy from official Chick-fil-A sources or trusted retailers. Otherwise, your card might not work at the restaurant.

Buying Chick-fil-A Gift Cards in Bulk

If you’re a business, school, church, or organization with an EIN number, you can easily buy gift cards in bulk. Visit the official bulk order page here: www.chick-fil-a.com/gift-cards.

If you’re an individual and want to buy multiple cards (like for gifting during holidays), you can still do that through your local Chick-fil-A restaurant or at participating retail stores.

For digital gift cards in bulk, email: [email protected].

Do You Get a Discount on Bulk Gift Cards?

No! You don’t. Chick-fil-A doesn’t offer any discount on bulk gift card orders.
But you can still buy multiple cards (from $5 to $100 each) at participating restaurants or by filling out the Bulk Order Form online.

How Can I Use a Chick-fil-A Gift Card?

Whether you’ve got a Chick-fil-A physical gift card or an eGift card, using it is super easy.
But first, let’s make sure you know exactly where it works (and where it doesn’t).

Use Your Gift Card at Restaurants

You can use your Chick-fil-A gift card in-store at most locations.

  • Pay at the counter or drive-thru like cash
  • Works for food, drinks, desserts, even merch (if available)
  • Just show your gift card or eGift code during checkout

This includes everything from chicken sandwiches and nuggets to milkshakes and waffle fries.

Note: Some licensed or Express locations don’t accept gift cards, more on that in the next section.

Use Your Gift Card on the App or Website

If you’re a fan of mobile ordering, you’re in luck.

Here’s how to use your gift card on the Chick-fil-A app or chick-fil-a.com:

  • Log into your Chick-fil-A One account
  • Go to the “Scan” section → tap “Add Funds” → select “Transfer a gift card”
  • Your balance moves to your digital gift card
  • Use that balance at checkout,  fast and easy

Great for skipping lines, earning points, and getting food faster.

Can You Use a Chick-fil-A Gift Card for Delivery?

Yes, but only if you’re using Chick-fil-A’s own delivery service inside the app. You cannot use a Chick-fil-A gift card on third-party delivery apps like:

  • DoorDash
  • Uber Eats
  • Grubhub

Even if you’re in the Chick-fil-A app, if it says “Powered by DoorDash”, your gift card won’t work.

Reddit users shared their real experiences:

“You can only use gift cards when Chick-fil-A handles the delivery directly.”
Infinite_Employ2322

“If it says ‘Powered by DoorDash’ at the bottom, your gift card won’t work.”
waterud0in

“You gotta choose Chick-fil-A delivery only, not third-party.”
JordanPMartin

So always check how your order is being fulfilled before trying to pay with your gift card.

Where Chick-fil-A Gift Cards Don’t Work

There are a few locations and situations where your card won’t be accepted:

  • Chick-fil-A Express or licensed locations (airports, stadiums, college campuses, hospitals)
  • Restaurants in Puerto Rico, even if you bought your card in the U.S.
  • Cross-border payments, U.S. gift cards only work in the U.S., and Canadian ones only work in Canada

Tip: Check the back of your card to see where it’s valid.
